AnSi

AnSi is a young adult and father who was recently incarcerated. He is currently working on regaining custody of his children, who are in foster care, and re-adjusting to his community. His long-term goal is to find long-term work as a welder. After joining samaritan through Northwest Youth Services, AnSi began receiving words of encouragement and financial support through 12 individual and institutional community supporters, who were able to assist him in securing a new title for a car, enabling his mobility to accomplish multiple critical steps to recovery, including attending parenting classes, meeting CPS, filing his taxes, and attending substance anonymous courses. The support has allowed AnSi to rapidly move forward post- incarceration, and he is now preparing to attend technical college for welding!
